  1. My dreamiest coziest quilting spot is my quilting room. It has soft colored walls, workspace for creating quilts, sewing machine and tools are all close by and handy, and a wonderful husband who helps with meals when I am in the midst of quilting and can not stop:) He truly is my helpmate and does so with loving kindness:)

  2. My coziest quilting spot is in my sewing room looking out at the beautiful trees just starting to bud and tulips starting to bloom. The forsythia also welcomes my smiles. My favorite quilting motifs are houses and I would love to add some more to my collection. Quilter's Dream batting is also a favorite of mine.

  6. My dreamist quilting spot is at my friend's house. Several of us get together to sew, eat and laugh our way through the weekend. It's our own little retreat!

  7. Anywhere nearby my husband & dogs can become my dreamiest, cosiest quilting spot - I'm pretty adaptable! I would love a big design wall some day though and somewhere to baste my quilts that doesn't require me moving the kitchen table & chairs and washing the floor first 😁

  18. I have a lovely big comfy chair in my living room where I stitch. I can look out at the Fraser River and see what sails by and enjoy the setting sun.

  19. Oh that's hard to answer because I love quilting so much I really don't have a favorite spot.
It can be whenever some like minded friends and I gather to quilt which luckily I belong to two special groups which meet monthly. OR
whenever I can carve out some time to quilt in my room (becomes very Zen like while I stitch alone aka: "a blessing") OR
Roaming to visit family (just came home from quilting with my Mom in Florida- more wonderful memories to cherish!) OR
gather with other friends at quilting retreats which are always uplifting and loads of fun. I truly love them all. What a wonderful way to kick off Spring, thanks!

  20. No favorite spot-my dining room table is where I quilt but it sure would be nice to have an outdoor patio to work outside this spring.

  21. My sewing room has a very large window looking out towards farm fields, flowers and beautiful mountains. This is definitely my favorite spot to sew.

  28. My favorite cozy quilty place is my own sewing room, with the heat turned up from its usual chilly temperature (ah, the thermostat wars!), the tv playing something from the Hallmark Movie & Mystery Channel, and the whole day uninterrupted by news from the outside world. Peaceful, contented, quiet: cozy. Sounds like perfection. My sweetheart has a business trip coming up soon, and I'll be able to make it all come together. Sometimes it's good not to dream too big.

  37. My sewing spot was once the dining room table...not very dreamy. Our youngest son moved out last summer so now I have my very own cozy sewing room. Just need to get a comfy chair and it will be the sewing room of my dreams.

  38. I just had rotator cuff surgery a couple of weeks ago. I'm really restricted by what I can do with this arm for a few more weeks, so all I can do now is dream about what I'll be able to do. My sewing room has a few remnants of the project I was finishing up the night before my surgery. I have so many ideas for projects in my head, so I'm spending time collecting ideas and straightening up my cozy sewing room that my sweet husband has helped me with. He reconfigured desks to be at the correct height for me to reduce neck and back strain when I sew. I'm so blessed to have a whole room just for my sewing projects. I have a bank of windows overlooking our vegetable and flower gardens in the back yard where we're visited throughout the day by beautiful birds stopping by for a drink or a bite to eat from the feeders. While there, I can listen to a favorite podcast or music while I'm sewing or just the quiet hum of my sewing machine. I pray that soon my shoulder will be healed and I can once again fully enjoy my beautiful retreat.

  39. I have a sewing room rather than a guest room. Oh well, they just can't stay the night. The room is blue and calm, cabinets full of fabric. I just love it in there.

  41. Would have to say dining room. One day I hope to have the free space to have a sewing room.

  42. My sewing room is a shared space that holds the family computer. I still have memories of my sons laughter, chatter, their critiques of my many "works in progress" and their seriousness in telling me NOT to make that "Walking Quilt Store Jacket".

  43. Now that spring has sprung, I love to sew in my "sunroom" which is filled with plants, new seedlings for the garden and a table and chair with a spare sewing machine. It works for me.

  46. My cozy quilt spot is my pretty sewing room. I love that it was my daughter's bedroom when she was a child. Sweet memories in that. She is all grown up now & she & my granddaughter enjoy coming by to see my latest quilting project.

  47. Okay, don't laugh, my coziest quilting area is...where my dining room used to be. LOL When I got my long arm, I wanted to make sure I was still by my family all of the time. I didn't want to be off in a secluded space and miss time with them, so in the dining room the machine went! Our house has a very open floor plan where the front room, dining room/long arm area and kitchen all connect with zero walls, so I can quilt, and still be with my family while they watch TV or grab a snack from the fridge. It has been really nice. I enjoy the space and being able to spend time with my family as well.

  48. My quilting spot isn't exactly cosy, it's the dining room table, although I am usually warm when I'm working on a quilt.

  49. My quilting room is my cozy place - it has an electric wall heater so the room is as warm as I want and I'm surrounded by my machines, threads, patterns, books and fabric!

  50. My quilting room is my cozy space. Nothing fancy, in an unfinished basement, but lined with shelves, and it's just for me. When I do handwork, whether it be hand quilting, binding, applique or embroidery, I do that in the evening while watching TV with my husband.
